The New Orleans Pelicans are coming off a big comeback win over the Clippers in which they finally reversed their season-long trend of stinking in the second half.

The Pels rolled 51-26 in the second half of last night’s win, highlighted by some great defense from Herb Jones and some timely 3-point shooting by Jonas Valanciunas.

The Pacers have lost three in a row and will also be on the second game of a back-to-back with travel, so both teams should be equally tired.

Can the Pelicans get a road win and try to stay afloat until Zion Williamson returns? Here are the odds, some predictions and the best fantasy bets for the Pelicans vs. Pacers.

New Orleans Pelicans vs. Pacers: Odds, spread and over/under

According to WynnBET, the Pelicans are seven point underdogs on the road against the Pacers, which seems ridiculously high considering the Pacers are playing pretty bad right now and are also on the second game of a back-to-back. I’d be tempted to take the points here and hope the Pels can at least stay close.

The money lines are set at +250 for the Pels and -300 for the Pacers. If you like the Pels to win this one, then forget the points, bet the money line and get the better odds.

The over/under is 213, which again seems high for two teams that have struggled to score. Even in last night’s win the Pels failed to crack 100, so I’d hammer the under on this one.

New Orleans Pelicans vs. Pacers: Predictions and best fantasy bets

Until further notice, Jonas Valanciunas is the best play for the Pelicans in daily fantasy. The Pacers do have two talented bigs in Domantas Sabonis and Myles Turner, but Turner is soft in the paint despite his shot-blocking numbers. The Pacers’ two bigs have struggled of late, so look for JV to have another big game.

Brandon Ingram is also a strong play, as the Pacers don’t really have anyone who can defend him, but if you are looking for a low-cost fantasy bet, look to Josh Hart, who has quietly been putting up really good all-around numbers.

Hart could have another big night on the boards and is the guy I would recommend for daily fantasy in this one.
