Why doesn’t Trey Murphy III play over Temple and Satoransky?

Raise your hand if you are sick and tired of watching Garrett Temple and Tomas Satoransky play basketball.

Trey Murphy III must have said something nasty about coach Green’s mother or something, as I can’t come up with a logical reason why he doesn’t play over Temple and Satoransky, who are both awful.

The two veterans were a combined -29 in just 23 minutes last night, an impressive feat of incompetence when you think about it.

Trey Murphy has a better offensive rating and a better defensive rating than both Sato and Temple, so it really makes no sense why he isn’t playing more.

The Pelicans’ bench has been the real weakness this season and has no shooting, which Murphy may be able to help if he can ever get in the game.

I thought Murphy was going to thrive in New Orleans as a spot up shooter and defender but he has to be given a chance, and he should be, as Temple and Satoransky are hurting this team right now and offer nothing on either end.
