Something has to give tonight when the New Orleans Pelicans take on the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.

The Pelicans have been terrible on the road, with just a 6-17 record, including their most recent loss to the Celtics in which they blew an 18-point lead.

The Knicks have a winning record on the road but are just 11-13 at home, so this will be a battle of two teams trying to change a narrative.

The Knicks won the last meeting but the Pelicans were missing both Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson, so things will be a little bit different this time, as BI is back and will hope to shine in the Garden.

The Knicks will be without Nerlens Noel, while the Pels are still missing Zion and Kira Lewis Jr. with Devonte’ Graham listed as questionable with ankle soreness.

Both teams have been pretty bad in their last 10 games and will be desperate to get a win.

New Orleans Pelicans vs. New York Knicks: Odds, spread, over/under, best bets

According to WynnBet, the Pelicans are 3.5 point underdogs on the road against the Knicks.

The books don’t really have much faith in either of these teams, as the home team generally gets three points automatically, so they are saying this one is more or less even.

The money lines say the same, as the Pels are just +130 and the Knicks -160, fairly even for two teams with losing records.

The over/under is 210, which seems pretty spot on considering these two teams average just under that combined for the season while giving up a combined 214.

It has the makings of a low-scoring game but I don’t see a lot of value in the over/under.

I do like the Pelicans to win this one even though they have struggled on the road, as they barely lost the first matchup with their two best players sidelined.

Jonas Valanciunas had a huge game the last time these two teams met and I expect he will again. So did Josh Hart, who has been as consistent as they come for daily fantasy players and is really one of the best values in the NBA.

Brandon Ingram has been solid in his last five games (barring the Celtics matchup) and is always a strong play.
