Here’s how we’re betting this game:

Pelicans vs Pistons Prediction

Playing their fourth game in five nights and potentially missing both Josh Hart and Brandon Ingram, this is a tough spot for the Pelicans. They’re coming off a slugfest yesterday against a physical Cavaliers team and now take on a Pistons squad that is quietly playing good basketball lately.

Detroit has covered the spread in five of their last six games overall and six of their last seven home games. As #1 overall pick Cade Cunningham has gotten more comfortable with the NBA, the Pistons have become an excellent spread bet. He’s averaging 17.2 points, 5.1 assists, 4.8 rebounds and 1.2 steals with just 2.9 turnovers per game over his last 10 contests and looks the part of a franchise cornerstone.

The Pelicans are just 2-12 without Ingram this season so his status looms large. Given his injury history and the brutal scheduling spot New Orleans is facing, I’d be surprised if he played.

I never thought I’d bet Detroit as a favorite, but I’m locking in the Pistons -1.5 (-110) as my best bet before the line has a chance to rise. The Pistons’ recent form is too much to ignore and the Pelicans are going to be exhausted. Don’t forget Jerami Grant and his 20+ points per game is playing for the first time since December 10th.

While I like -110, the best odds are +2000 – especially when it doesn’t matter if we win or lose! Don’t forget to claim your offer now. Bet $10, Win $200 by signing up for WynnBET now!
