What would a trade for De’Aaron Fox cost the Pelicans?

I should say that I don’t think this trade would be done without at least one other team involved, as it is hard to make the salaries work without the Pels sending back at least 3-4 players.

Without additional moves, the Kings wouldn’t have spots for all of these guys, so there would likely have to be a third or even fourth team involved.

So this is more a crack at what it would cost the Pelicans, as they would have to give up a lot even if the players are spread around to other teams.

It’s possible the Kings would want Jaxson Hayes instead of or in addition to NAW, Satoransky’s expiring deal has to be in there to make the money work, as does Josh Hart.

Two picks might be a lot but the Pelicans have plenty more and Fox has age on his side, giving New Orleans three under-25 players to build around.

I think this is the least New Orleans would have to give up to get Fox whether there is a third team involved or not and it would likely cost them more.

Would either team do it?
