Pelicans stock market after 3-game skid: Who is trending?
Pelicans stock market: March 10, 2022
The bench
Jose Alvarado-Holding steady
Alvarado continues to give the Pelicans solid minutes off the bench in limited run. His role has been diminished somewhat but he always brings energy.
Naji Marshall-Trending down
Marshall got back into the rotation but still can’t make shots, which is a problem. He is shooting just 19 percent from 3-point range over his last 10 games and has gone just 1-13 over his last four.
Tony Snell-Trending down
Snell is fine off the bench but Brandon Ingram he is not. He has put up two duds in a row as Ingram’s replacement and somehow scored zero points in 31 minutes against the worst team in the NBA. It’s easy to see why he has never averaged more than 8.5 points per game in his career. The man is anonymous at times on the court.
Devonte’ Graham-Trending down
Graham is a guy the Pelicans desperately need to step up, but he has been very inconsistent this season, scoring 12 points one game, then disappearing in the next. His move to the bench hasn’t seemed to help and he’s shooting just 36 percent over his last 10 games.
