The New Orleans Pelicans will be on the road again today against the Los Angeles Clippers hoping to get back in the win column after losing against the Suns.

The Pels have had to lean on their depth early, and will be shorthanded again tonight against LA, but are hopefully catching them at the right time, as the Clippers have lost three in a row, including two to the OKC Thunder.

This is a brutal stretch of the schedule for New Orleans, but hopefully they will be getting a few players back tonight.

Here is everything you need to know about today’s afternoon matchup with the Clippers.

New Orleans Pelicans vs Los Angeles Clippers: Odds and Spread, Over/Under

The books really aren’t sure what to make of this one, as we won’t know until game time who exactly is playing for either team. New Orleans is a 2.5 point underdog on the road, and the money lines are set at +116 for the Pels and -136 for the Clippers, so there is not a big favorite in this one.

The over under is set at a combined 224.5 points, and until further notice, I like the Pels to continue their streak of going over, even if they are still missing key players.

Pelicans injury report: Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram injury update

Brandon Ingram, Dyson Daniels and Kira Lewis Jr. are all out for New Orleans and both Zion Williamson and Herb Jones will be game time decisions.

The Clippers will be missing Kawhi Leonard and Robert Covington, which will somewhat balance the scales for the Pels.

New Orleans Pelicans vs Los Angeles: Prediction

Los Angeles is not playing well right now, and the Pels have beaten one good team and hung with another in the last two even though they were without several starters.

If Zion and Herb both return, I think New Orleans is going to win this one, so check the injury report just before the game. Even if they don’t play, I love the way New Orleans is fighting right now and think they can pull off the shorthanded road win.

I like the Pels in a high scoring game.

New Orleans 118, Los Angeles 112
