The New Orleans Pelicans will take on the Golden State Warriors in their only home game in the middle of six on the road.

The Pels are coming of a disappointing loss to the LA Lakers, a game they probably should have won but will serve as a learning experience for New Orleans.

The Warriors have been struggling, and are just 3-6 in the young season after losing four in a row, three of them against some of the bottom feeders of the NBA in Charlotte, Detroit and Orlando.

This is a good time to catch the Warriors, but the Pels have to play with 48 minutes of energy, which they failed to do against the Lakers.

New Orleans Pelicans vs Golden State Warriors: Odds and Spread, Over/Under

The spread in this one opened at -6.5 for the Pelicans but has since dropped to -4.5, which makes me wonder if the books know something more about the injuries to Brandon Ingram and Herbert Jones.

The money lines are -190 for New Orleans and +160 for Golden State and there has not been an over/under set for this one yet, as the books aren’t sure who is playing. With these two teams, the over will probably be the play though.

Pelicans injury report: Brandon Ingram update

New Orleans will still be missing Kira Lewis Jr. but both Brandon Ingram and Herbert Jones have been upgraded to probable for tonight’s matchup with Golden State.

The Warriors will be without Andre Iguodala and Donte DiVincenzo.

New Orleans Pelicans vs Golden State Warriors: Prediction

The Warriors have been a one-man team lately, with Stephen Curry putting up big numbers and pretty much everyone else struggling. If the Pels can slow him down, I love their chances to roll in this one, as they should have a sizable advantage in the paint.

I like Zion Williamson and Jonas Valanciunas to dominate the Warriors’ front court and for the Pels to win whether Ingram and Jones play or not.

New Orleans 120, Golden State 110
