The New Orleans Pelicans will head back on the road tonight to face the San Antonio Spurs, fresh off a blowout win over the Warriors.

The Pelicans have won four of their last five games, while the Spurs are in a five-game losing streak that New Orleans hopes to extend tonight.

It’s a game New Orleans should win on the road, as the Spurs are playing poorly and beat up, but they can’t take it for granted, as you know any team coached by Gregg Popovich is going to play hard.

Here’s everything you need to know about tonight’s game against a division rival.

New Orleans Pelicans vs San Antonio Spurs: Odds and Spread, Over/Under

New Orleans is a seven point favorite tonight on the road in Texas, with money lines set at -275 for the Pels and +225 for the Spurs.

The over/under is 229.5 points and I like the over, as the Spurs have the league’s worst defense and have been getting torched for 124 points per game over their last three. The Pels have the league’s 4th-highest scoring offense and should be able run up the score tonight.

Pelicans injury report

Trey Murphy III is listed as questionable for tonight against the Spurs, so the Pelicans are about as healthy as they’ve been all season. Let’s hope he returns soon so we can see the full roster firing at full strength.

Josh Richardson is doubtful for the Spurs, Jakob Poetl is questionable and Zach Collins is probable for tonight.

New Orleans Pelicans vs San Antonio Spurs: Prediction

I’d love to see the Pels come out and dominate San Antonio, but they always seem to have problems against the pesky Spurs.

But the Spurs are young and New Orleans should be able to exploit them in several ways offensively. The Pels’ bench should have a big night against a thin Spurs’ roster, so I like the Pels to roll in this one.

Zion Williamson has averaged 24 points and 10 rebounds against the Spurs in his career and I expect he’ll add to those averages tonight.

New Orleans 125, San Antonio 105
