In today’s world of constant player movement, you never know when your team’s favorite player might become your new greatest rival. And it’s that possibility that makes simple answers to questions at All-Star Weekend media sessions all the more interesting.

For fans of the New Orleans Pelicans, things got spicy when Zion Williamson revealed his preference for cities he most enjoys traveling to as the road team.

"“Come on now. You know the answer to this,” Williamson told press during an All-Star media session. “You seen the video? Don’t do that. … Dallas, baby. Dallas. Dallas is the best road city. What, what are we talking about? I would say Dallas, New York, and Toronto.”"

Now, now, no need for Pelicans fans to get anxious. First, Williamson was asked what his favorite road city is, not his favorite city in general. I’m not a gambling man, but I’m willing to wager that if you ask Williamson what city is his favorite in general, his answer starts with a “New” and ends with an “Orleans.”

Second, Williamson just inked a 5-year, 193-million dollar extension this offseason that doesn’t even start until next season (and could be even more lucrative if he makes an All-NBA team this season). Unless something unforeseen happens, Williamson is here to stay (*knocks wood*).

But it still is fun to think about the hypothetical scenario where Williamson does want out of New Orleans. Are the Dallas Mavericks on the top of his list simply because he loves the city so much? Would the New York Knicks and Toronto Raptors also have a chance at landing him?

Who knows. All we know for certain is that Williamson loves road-tripping it up in the great city of Dallas.
