New Orleans Pelicans (37-37) vs. Golden State Warriors (39-36) – Tuesday, March 28th @ 10 PM Eastern Standard Time

This game against the Golden State Warriors is meaningful for all the reasons the Clippers’ clash is so valuable. The Warriors have a seed that we want, and they are 1.5 games ahead of us in the standings.

But what makes this game more important the Clippers one is that it is coming on the second night of a back-to-back (so Pelicans will have to battle fatigue), and it sets the tone for the Denver and Los Angeles games. A win would be a huge confidence boost heading into two tough matchups, while a loss might be the catalyst to a terribly-timed losing streak.

The Pelicans have bested the Warriors in two of their first three meetings so far this year, and even if they do end up losing to them, and the season series is tied at two wins a piece, New Orleans still has the tiebreaker because they have the better division record.
