Stone Hansen: Brice Sensabaugh

“The Pelicans have a roster that can insulate a variety of skill sets, and I think Brice Sensabaugh would make a lot of sense at 14 for a team looking to build out their shooting arsenal around some of their major offensive weapons that currently are at their best operating downhill or in the paint. A ridiculous shooter who needs very little space to operate could really benefit the Pelicans. He’s still learning how to weaponize his advanced handle into advantage creation, but when he’s able to get downhill, he is comfortable finishing on either side in a variety of ways, really utilizing his burly frame. New Orleans is a team with lengthy wing defenders that can help cover for his current lackluster defense as he continues to develop in that area. Overall, this is a great situation for him to still get repetitions while learning from the other established defenders on the team. While there are many ways the Pelicans can come out ahead at pick 14 in this draft thanks to the various skillsets that they already roster, Sensabaugh should certainly be near the top of their list of potential candidates.”
