Would New York Knicks trade multiple picks for Zion Williamson?

The Knicks have one shot at adding a star, but is Zion their target? He has been a top-ten player in the league when healthy, but he averages just 28.5 games per season after four years. Williamson played 29 games this season, which was the second-most in his career. The injury history is scary and could run the Knicks off of this deal.

It could be the chance to buy low on one of the league’s best players. If Zion can play 65 games per season, he will be an All-Star and in the running for All-NBA. He is only 22 years old and could be the best player in the league during his prime. It is a gamble, but one the Knicks might take if they were convinced they could get Zion in shape and keep him on the floor.

It is impossible to know if Leon Rose would make this offer, but it is the type of deal that New York wants. They have no plans on rebuilding. They acquired those additional picks to trade for an impactful piece. Rose just has to decide if it is Zion or some other player he wants to target.

The New York Knicks will make an offer if Zion Williamson becomes available, but would the Pelicans be interested in this deal?
