The New Orleans Pelicans have rebounded nicely after losing their opening game of the Summer League, taking their last three games against Golden State, Phoenix and Charlotte.

Now, the team heads into its final matchup in Las Vegas – a consolation tilt with the Philadelphia 76ers.

Philly won its opener in Las Vegas against the New York Knicks, but the team is 0-3 since, losing to the Atlanta Hawks, Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Clippers.

G League Finals MVP Jaden Springer is the star of the Sixers team, but the roster doesn’t have a lot of first-round talent on it this summer.

That puts the Sixers as underdogs in this game. With New Orleans favored, here are the odds and my best bet for this matchup:

Sixers vs. Pelicans prediction and pick

There’s no doubt that the Pelicans – led by lottery picks Dyson Daniels and Jordan Hawkins – have more talent on their roster than Philly.

Over this three-game winning streak, the Pelicans have won each game by at least six points, which gives me confidence that they can cover this number on Sunday afternoon.

The Clippers, who took down Philly in its last game, have significantly less first-round talent on their roster this summer, and yet they won by double digits in that game.

After Springer, Ricky Council IV and Javonte Smart, there hasn’t been a ton to write home about with this Sixers team in the summer. I expect New Orleans to keep up its hot play and close the summer out with a win.

Pick: Pelicans -2 (-110)
