1: Brandon Ingram’s Big Game Leadership

This is not the Dream Team going to the 2023 FIBA World Cup. Ingram is the most talented, longest-tenured All-Star on this roster. Anthony Edwards is still just 21 years old. Tyrese Haliburton (23) is the only other offensive initiator on the roster. Ingram (26) has a more developed game than both and is being asked to lead a Team USA squad full of guys making their debuts.

Ingram was one of ten players to average at least 24 points, five rebounds, and five assists per game last season. He has also been with the Team USA program for years, having fallen just short of making the last Olympic and World Cup teams. Now he’s the unquestioned leader. How will he step up? Mikal Bridges is anxious as anyone to find out.
