3. Larry Nance Jr.

Nance Jr. is a versatile option that has a ton of trade value. The 6’7 forward has proven to be a strong rebounder, finisher, and playmaker that can defend multiple positions and play in any lineup. He operated primarily as a center last season in New Orleans, but Nance Jr. can play the four or even slide down to the three in some matchups.

The 30-year-old has two years and $21.5 million remaining on his contract, which is a bargain with the salary cap projected to climb in the coming years. Contending teams could be eager to trade for Nance Jr. if they need a big man or are just looking to solidify their depth.

The eight-year NBA veteran is also a fantastic locker-room presence that is always going to back his teammates. Fans saw him come to Zion’s defense in the media multiple times, and the 30-year-old is a player that teams desire both on and off the court.

If the New Orleans Pelicans are struggling, Larry Nance Jr. could be on the trade block. They are unlikely to send out members of their young core, but the veteran could leave The Big Easy as the Pelicans look to add draft capital in hopes of flipping it for another marquee talent to push them into contention.
