October 25 @ Memphis Grizzlies

1. Willie Green and Company want to start changing the narrative immediately? Just like last year’s blowout victory over the Brooklyn Nets, go into Memphis and get an early win over the rival Grizzlies. They’ll be grit-and-grinding away without Ja Morant for the first 25 games. Take advantage or take a back seat on all the TV talk shows during the first week of the season.

October 30 vs. Golden State Warriors

2. Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and the Golden State Warriors will be playing their 3rd game in 4 nights, all on the road. This will be Golden State Warriors’ only trip to New Orleans all season. Curry has not played a game in New Orleans in over 840 days (May 4, 2021). NBA TV will be in town. But even if Curry doesn’t play, the Smoothie King Center customers will be in a mood on that Monday night.
