Dyson Daniels could be a sneaky prop bet pick on Monday night when the New Orleans Pelicans take on the Sacramento Kings.

Daniels – a former lottery pick – has been inserted into the starting lineup, and he’s thriving since.

The Pelicans would love to grab a win at home against another Western Conference foe, and there are a few players to target in the prop market if that happens.

Here are my favorite plays for the Pelicans-Kings showdown:

Kings vs. Pelicans best NBA prop bets today

  • Jonas Valanciunas OVER 13.5 points
  • Dyson Daniels OVER 18.5 points, rebounds, and assists
  • Keegan Murray OVER 2.5 3-pointers made

Jonas Valanciunas OVER 13.5 points

Jonas Valanciunas has scored 15 or more points in four of his last five games, including back-to-back huge scoring nights where he put up 22 and 26 points, taking 33 shots over those two matchups.

While Domantas Sabonis is a tough matchup, the Kings’ big man isn’t going to want to get in foul trouble. That could set up Valanciunas for a few easy looks underneath the basket, and with CJ McCollum still hurt, the Pelicans center should remain in a bigger offensive role.

Dyson Daniels OVER 18.5 points, rebounds and assists

Daniels has started the last six games for the Pels, and he’s averaging 11.2 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 5.0 assists per game over that stretch.

He’s cleared 18.5 PRA in four of those six outings, landing on 18 PRA exactly in one of them. I think his role (33.8 minutes per game in his last six games) will continue to grow if he keeps playing at this level.

Keegan Murray OVER 2.5 3-pointers made

Keegan Murray has not shot the ball at a high rate this season, but he’s taken at least six shots from beyond the arc in nine of his last 10 games.

Murray is normally a very solid shooter, so the fact that he’s seeing this much volume is a positive sign for him eventually getting back to clearing this prop.

He had a game with five 3-pointers last Monday, and he should see more open looks with De’Aaron Fox drawing a lot of defensive attention.
