The New Orleans Pelicans are looking to spoil Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant’s return to action on Tuesday night, and oddsmakers have set New Orleans as a major favorite.
With questions around Morant's effectiveness in his season debut, I think the best bets for the Pelicans are in the prop market.
I have three props for this matchup, including one for each of the Pels’ Big 3, to bet for this nationally televised game.
If you’re looking to bet on this Pelicans-Grizzlies matchup, Bet365 is the place to do it! For a limited time, new bettors in Louisiana will receive $365 in bonus bets if they simply place a $1 wager with Bet365. That’s an unbelievable offer!
Grizzlies vs. Pelicans best NBA prop bets
- Brandon Ingram UNDER 10.5 rebounds and assists
- Zion Williamson OVER 0.5 blocks
- CJ McCollum OVER 2.5 3-pointers made
Brandon Ingram UNDER 10.5 rebounds and assists
Brandon Ingram can stuff the stat sheet, but he hasn’t been doing it as of late, failing to clear this total in five straight games.
Ingram is averaging 4.8 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game, but he’s picked up 10 or fewer rebounds and assists in 15 of his 24 games this season.
Memphis isn’t a great defense, but the team is in the top 10 in opponent assists allowed per game. I lean with the UNDER here for BI.
Zion Williamson OVER 0.5 blocks
I love this prop for Zion Williamson, who has blocked at least one shot in two of his last three games.
There isn’t a team in the NBA that gets blocked as much as Memphis (7.0 opponent blocks per game), and Chet Holmgren had a field day against the Grizz on Monday, blocking seven shots.
Zion can jump with the best of them, so don’t be shocked if he registers at least one block in this one.
CJ McCollum OVER 2.5 3-pointers made
Pelicans guard CJ McCollum is getting hot from 3, hitting four, four, three and six 3-pointers in his last four games.
Yet, McCollum’s 3-point prop is at just 2.5 for this one. I love the OVER here, as Memphis ranks 27th in the NBA in opponent 3-pointers made per game.
CJ is also taking 3s at a steady clip – attempting at least six in four straight games.
