The New Orleans Pelicans are looking to play spoiler on Thursday night as short underdogs in their NBA In-Season Tournament Semifinal matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers.

My favorite bets in this game happen to be in the prop market, and the Pelicans have two stars that I’m looking to wager on tonight.

Plus, there is a Lakers guard that could be a value bet tonight.

If you’re looking to bet on this Pelicans-Kings matchup, Bet365 is the place to do it! For a limited time, new bettors in Louisiana will receive $365 in bonus bets if they simply place a $1 wager with Bet365. That’s an unbelievable offer!

Here are the picks for Thursday, Dec. 7:

Pelicans vs. Lakers best NBA prop bets

  • Brandon Ingram OVER 23.5 points
  • CJ McCollum OVER 22.5 points and assists
  • Austin Reaves OVER 22.5 points, rebounds and assists

Brandon Ingram OVER 23.5 points

Even with the Pelicans back at full strength, Ingram still put up 30 points in the team’s last game and took 20 shots.

After three down games in terms of his usage, Ingram seems to be back to his normal role. Over his last 10 games, he’s cleared 23.5 points in six of them.

I think he has a big game against his former team on Thursday.

CJ McCollum OVER 22.5 points and assists

I love this prop for CJ McCollum, who has cleared it in all three games he’s played since returning from a collapsed lung.

On the season, McCollum is averaging 20.7 points and 6.0 assists per game. He’s going to see a few fewer shots with Trey Murphy III back in action, but this prop is still too low.

In three games since returning, CJ has 25, 27 and 24 points and assists. Even if he doesn’t score 20 points, he can still get over this prop.

Austin Reaves OVER 22.5 points, rebounds and assists

Austin Reaves has thrived for the Lakers since moving to the bench, averaging 14.5 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per game. He’s getting more touches as the lead ball-handler, and it’s helped his consistency in the prop market.

I think Reaves, who has cleared 22.5 PRA in six of his last nine games, is a solid Laker to bet on in this game.
