Grades for the Pelicans bench

With this game ending up with a 20-point differential, some players got garbage time minutes, and those won't be graded.

Trey Murphy III: A+

After Ingram's big night, it's hard to give anyone else the MVP on the night, but Murphy was a +43 in his 33 minutes. He scored 27 points on 7-of-10 shooting, knocking down six of his seven attempted 3-pointers. He also added six rebounds, four assists and two steals.

His impact essentially erased the stinkers put up by Jones and Daniels, which was reflected in their respective minutes played.

Naji Marshall: A-

With 16 bench points in 28 minutes, Marshall had a huge night. He was a +37 and shared the court with Murphy plenty as their lineup truly changed the game for the Pelicans. He shot 6-of-11 from the field and dished seven assists while helping lift the team over the Wizards.

Jordan Hawkins: C-

Hawkins' game wasn't exactly a good shooting one, and that's the main value he provides to the team. He shot just 1-of-7 from the field and missed both of his 3-pointer attempts. He played just 19 minutes in this contest.

Jose Alvarado: C

Like Hawkins, Alvarado wasn't bad, and his plus-15 plus-minus was solid, but he really didn't do anything too eye-popping. He knocked down two of his three 3-pointers while stealing the ball from the Wizards twice.
