5. Cam Reddish

Duke was loaded with talent in the 2018-19 campaign. They were ranked number one for the majority of the season before falling to Michigan State in the Elite Eight. It was not a fairytale ending, but the Blue Devils had three players drafted in the top ten, including Zion and Reddish.

The 6’8 wing has struggled to live up to the hype in the NBA. He played for four different teams in his first five seasons. Reddish has primarily come off the bench and played a career-high 58 games as a rookie.

The 24-year-old averaged 5.4 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.0 steal in 20.5 minutes per game for the Lakers in 2024. He shot just 38.9 percent from the field and was outside the nightly rotation for the second half of the season. He is likely to decline his $2.4 million player option for next year in search of a larger role.

Could he reunite with his college teammate? Zion Williamson has experience playing with Cam Reddish and may be able to help him take his game to another level. The 6’8 wing must be better or he may struggle to find a place moving forward. Reddish has a ton to prove and will likely have a decision to make this summer in free agency.
