2. Immanuel Quickley

Quickley was also teammates with Zion at the 2018 McDonald’s All-American Game. The showcase was loaded with talent, and Quickly displayed his passing skills. He had eight assists and one steal but missed his only two field goal attempts in 17 minutes. Their team suffered a narrow defeat after a second-half comeback, but it did not stop many of the prospects from charging into the NBA.

There is no way the Raptors let Quickley go this summer. He was a key piece of the return for OG Anunoby and was instantly inserted into the starting lineup after arriving in Toronto. The 6’3 guard averaged 18.6 points, 6.8 assists, 4.8 rebounds, and 0.9 steals in 33.3 minutes per game over his final 38 contests. He proved he is a starting point guard and in line for a massive contract.

Quickley is a restricted free agent this summer. The Raptors can and will match any offer sheet. The two sides likely just work out an extension that keeps him in Toronto for the next four years.

The Pelicans would love to add a true point guard to run their offense. They will need playmaking if they plan on parting with Brandon Ingram this offseason. Getting a developing guard would be ideal, but Quickley is likely locked in Toronto.
