The New Orleans Pelicans are heavily favored on Monday night against the Toronto Raptors, who are facing a brutal turnaround on the second night of a back-to-back.

Toronto led the Oklahoma City Thunder by 16 at the half on Sunday night, but the team blew the lead and ended up falling in double overtime by eight points.

Tough.

Now, the Raps have a quick turnaround in New Orleans, and the Pelicans are favored by 11.5 points in this game in the latest odds.

Should bettors trust the Pels to take care of business?

Raptors vs. Pelicans key players to watch

Toronto Raptors

Immanuel Quickley: Quickley had a double-double (17 points, 11 assists) in the Raptors loss on Sunday night, but he shot just 7-for-20 from the field. The former Knicks point guard has been solid for the Raptors since being acquired in a trade, averaging 17.3 points, 6.4 assists, and 4.2 rebounds per game while shooting 43.5 percent from 3.

New Orleans Pelicans

Zion Williamson: If he plays, this could be a big game for Williamson down low. The Raptors rank 25th in the NBA in points allowed in the paint per game (54.6), and Zion is coming off a 33-point game in his last matchup. The Pelicans forward is now averaging 22.3 points per game on the season.

Raptors vs. Pelicans prediction and pick

This is a prime spot to back the Pelicans, who are 2-0 against the spread as double-digit favorites this season.

Quickley, RJ Barrett and Jakob Poeltl have been banged up as of late, so there’s a chance the team sits one or multiple of those guys after playing big minutes on Sunday night.

Toronto collapsed in that game, and the team ranks 26th in the league in net rating over its last 10 games. Plus, the Raps are just 3-5 ATS on the second night of a back-to-back this season.

New Orleans has been great at home, going 9-7-1 ATS as a home favorite and winning 14 of its 24 home games. I’ll trust the Pels as massive favorites tonight.

Pick: Pelicans -11.5 (-110)
