With the 2014-2015 NBA season over it is time to look back and everything and anything the New Orleans Pelicans did this season and talk about and discuss it. Over the past few weeks we have been rolling out season reviews of just about every player that played in any meaningful moments.

Those reviews weren’t enough though so the staff will also be getting together for a bunch of roundtables talking about the roster both this season and looking forward a bit. With that in mind we start today with a collection of players.

That collection is the role players, an important group going forward for the Pelicans. With a core of Anthony Davis, Eric Gordon, Tyreke Evans, Jrue Holiday and Omer Asik seemingly in the plans for the start of next season it is the role players around them that will determine how much better the Pelicans can realistically get. That means guys like Quincy Pondexter and potentially returning guys like Dante Cunningham, Norris Cole and maybe even Alexis Ajinca. Or can Jeff Withey step up if Ajinca walks which seems kind of likely.

All of that and a bit more is touched on in the coming slides so make sure to check them out and as always feel free to leave your answers in the comments below.
