Number 13: Kendrick Perkins

As it turns out Omer Asik would probably not be the first player out in a dodgeball game involving the Pelicans. Theo only thing that saves him from that dubious honor is the offseason acquisition of Kendrick Perkins.

Perkins problems are many. First, he is just a tiny bit slower than Omer Asik according to player tracking stats on NBA.com as Perkins average speed last season was 3.7 miles per hour while Asik clocked in at 3.8. Second, his hands are actually probably a bit worse.

Perkins fumbles balls around in a way that makes Asik look like he has average hands which is quite astounding. Even when Perkins does catch the ball he doesn’t seem comfortable with it, which is a downgrade from Asik who can at least pass the ball a little bit. With how important throwing is in the game of dodgeball that doesn’t bode well for Perkins.

Number 12: Omer Asik

I won’t even waste time with this one. We all know Asik is bad at moving and catching and that doesn’t bode well for dodgeball. He is just a little, tiny bit better than Perk. Really this should be a tie for 13th but I will be nice to Asik.
