Were you excited or indifferent when the Pelicans signed Jeff Adrien?
Rick: Indifferent. He’s a power forward, which at the moment is a pretty stacked position with Anthony Davis and Ryan Anderson. In fact, the position is still the deepest position in the league other than point guard. He can rebound, but he’s a one-dimensional player.

Austin: I must not be in the loop when it comes to loving Adrien as much as everyone else does, but from what I have heard, he sounds like a solid veteran presence in the locker room. With how young the Pelicans are on the whole, this seems like a pretty good signing.
Matt: I was excited for Adrien because I like him as a player and think he can be an actual rotation player for some team. That said I don’t see how that team is a healthy Pelicans one because as Rick said it happens to be the deepest spot on the team. Even if injuries hit it would surprise me if Adrien gets minutes over Dante Cunningham, so in that sense I guess I am a bit indifferent because I don’t see how it matters.
Nathan: I was excited. He really has played exceedingly well in his limited minutes in his career so far. I’m actually surprised that he hasn’t stuck on a roster yet. His rebounding, in particular, is super impressive.
