Moses Malone and Charles Barkley only played together for two years but accomplished a lot in a little amount of time. In their two years, they won a combined 112 games and went to two Eastern Conference Semifinals while making it to one Eastern Conference Finals.

They are also a couple of the best rebounding duos on this list. It’s almost ironic that the only year Barkley did not secure 10+ rebounds per game was one of his seasons with Malone.

Despite that, these bigs both put up over 20+ points per game and 11+ rebounds per game in their second season together. After that, Malone became a Washington Bullet and the duo never played together again with Malone bouncing around to an incredible nine NBA teams in his career.

The Pels’ duo has a chance to catch these two because of how limited their time together was. New Orleans has to hope they have Cousins and Davis for much longer than just two years.

Malone was also nearly 30 when first teamed up with Charles Barkley, who was a rookie and not quite ready to be the player he ultimately became. It won’t be easy to catch anyone on this list but these two may be their best chance.
