Memphis Grizzlies:

With the departure of Mike Conley came a new era in Beale Steet. With the second overall selection in this year’s draft, they got their hopeful franchise cornerstone, Ja Morant. He joins an already exciting young core that involves Jaren Jackson Jr. and Brandon Clarke.

They re-signed Jonas Valucianas, who played arguably his best stretch of basketball after being traded to Memphis last season and nabbed Andre Iguodala, a former Finals MVP and one of the better wing defenders of his generation (though his immediate future with the team is uncertain).

While they might not make noise in the western conference next season, they’re arriving. Future looks bright for the Grizzlies.
