Derrick Favors: Eager

Spending so much time on the same team as Rudy Gobert was both a blessing and a curse for Derrick Favors. On one hand, Favors, a gifted basketball player in his own right, has been overshadowed by his own teammate, one of the most dominant big men of the last five years.

On the other hand, Favors had an opportunity to shine in his own right: as a willing team player and competitor who was always ready to answer the call. Now, with a starting spot presumably locked up on a team that values him as highly as he’s ever been, Favors is eager to come out and prove to the rest of the world exactly what he can do when given the opportunity.

Josh Hart: Buoyant

There’s something about Josh Hart that just makes you feel good. He’s got an infectious energy, like a kid that just walked into an ice-cream shop for the first time in their life. Hart is in love with life, with basketball, and, evidently, New Orleans. It’s going to be hard to stay down in a locker room that has his bounce.
