New Orleans Pelicans @ Utah Jazz: Return of Derrick Favors to Salt Lake City

On November 23rd, Pelicans power forward Derrick Favors will make his return to Salt Lake City, Utah to take on his former team the Utah Jazz. This will be the first time Favors will return to play in the city that he enjoyed playing in for nine of his ten NBA seasons. Expect Favors to receive a warm ovation in pre-game and put on an exciting game for the crowd. Favors spent 90% of his career with the Jazz, having spent his rookie season in New Jersey with the Nets. During his time in Utah, Favors averaged 12.1 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1.2 assists on 52.6% shooting in 26.3 minutes per contest. He will match up against new Utah addition Ed Davis in what should be a gritty battle.
