Today we’re going to discuss the presumptive number one overall pick for the 2020 NBA draft: Anthony Edwards.
The Georgia freshman walked away with second team All-SEC and 2020 SEC Freshman of the Year awards after a stellar single season with the Bulldogs.
Heralded as the top shooting guard coming out of Holy Spirit Prep in Atlanta for 2019, he took the SEC by storm and got the Bulldogs some national attention despite going 16-16 for the season.
Like the possibility of LaMelo Ball, trying to get high enough in the draft to potentially take Edwards is going to take a lot of work and moving pieces, as the New Orleans Pelicans have just a 1.2 percent chance at the number one pick.
