The New Orleans Pelicans hope to finish on a high note against Orlando.

The last game of the New Orleans Pelicans‘ season is the nightcap for today’s slate of NBA games.

What will be a game played mainly by the benches of both teams could also be the last time we see a few of those players in Pelicans uniforms.

Almost an entire rotations worth of players could see their time with the New Orleans Pelicans come to an end after this game. Take the time to enjoy each of the guys who get into the game tonight, as they may not be here next year and this includes the coach.

There really isn’t a ton at stake in this game as the Magic have locked up a first-round matchup with the Milwaukee Bucks and God help them because that will be a massacre.

The New Orleans Pelicans could see their draft position change depending on the result but even that would only be one place up or down in a draft that isn’t full of star power.

The Pels are hoping both the San Antonio Spurs and Phoenix Suns sneak into the play-in game, as it would give them a slightly better position in the NBA Lottery.

The Orlando Magic are 3.5 point favorites tonight, and that number has actually gone down as they opened as 4.5 point favorites. I’m not sure what’s driving the public to bet on New Orleans, as the Pelicans have looked uninterested in pretty much every game in the bubble.

Take the Magic in this one as they want to get right for their date with Milwaukee and get at least one win in the first round just like they did last year when they shocked everyone with an upset over the Toronto Raptors.

Here’s what happened the last time the two teams met and the key matchups for tonight’s game vs. the Magic.
