The point guard position is probably the least appealing of the 2021 free agent class and it is still loaded.

Most of these guys fall into the “veterans near the end of their career” category and might not be on the Pelicans’ radar, especially if Jrue Holiday is still on the roster.

The best name on this list for the Pelicans is probably Dennis Schroder, who would be a nice change-of-pace backup point guard, as he has been for OKC this season.

Most of the others probably fall into the “too old” or “too expensive” category, although one of them might take a lesser deal to be on a good team with a chance to win a title.

The Pelicans are pretty set at point guard at the moment, but a lot could change between now and 2021, so these are players to keep an eye on.
