Yes, it’s early on in this new era of New Orleans Pelicans basketball but there’s already a lot of similarities to the consistency the San Antonio Spurs produced in this era. This offseason is how the New Orleans Pelicans solidify themselves for league dominance over the next decade.
It all circles around the face of the franchise. Zion Williamson is the most surefire number one pick since LeBron James, the elite power forward is the New Orleans Pelicans own Tim Duncan. The similarities branch out from there.
