Be the GM: The New Orleans Pelicans trade Jrue Holiday for Andrew Wiggins and #2

Trading for the #2 Pick

Congratulations!

You have traded the face of your franchise for a package based around Andrew Wiggins and the #2 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft.

You make this move if you want to build around your young trio of Zion Williamson, Brandon Ingram and Lonzo Ball with players who are closer to their age.

You’ve grabbed a decent wing in Wiggins, who has the potential to be even more than the 3-and-D wing he’s been so far. He’s a legit scoring threat and could potentially make the Pelicans very long and switchable on defense.

The question is, what are you going to do with the #2 pick? We’re assuming in this that Minnesota took Anthony Edwards with #1.
