Be the GM: Should the New Orleans Pelicans make a trade for the #1 pick?

The first team up in the 2020 NBA draft is the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Wolves are in an interesting position, as they have the players to potentially win now and may not want to add another young draft pick to a team that is desperate to make the playoffs.

The Timberwolves have to be concerned that star center Karl-Anthony Towns will start to get disgruntled if they don’t win, so could push in the #1 pick in a package to get a third piece to go with KAT and D’Angelo Russell.
