The New Orleans Pelicans trade Jrue Holiday for Kevin Love

Trading for the #5 Pick

Congrats! You have just drastically altered the makeup of your team.

You got a stretch-five in Kevin Love, but your defense probably just got a lot worse.

You do this move if you want to move on from Holiday but get a veteran player in return instead of a package of young guys. You also must have faith that Kevin Love can be rejuvenated on a good team playing with Zion.

You also pick up the #5 pick in the NBA Draft, which you could use to grab a guard, a wing or even another young big.

Now that you have Kevin Love, you might consider getting some rim protection because he is not going to provide it. Okongwu might still be there at center, but you may decide to go a different direction.
