There are some interesting trades for the New Orleans Pelicans and the Pacific Division.

The New Orleans Pelicans have been in the middle of almost every offseason trade rumor, including a few with the Pacific Division.

The Pelicans have young players, veteran contracts and draft assets, so it makes sense that they would be involved in trade rumors.

The Pacific Division is one of the best in basketball and will be even better next season when the Warriors see the return of all of their stars.

The Lakers are the defending champions, the Clippers are trying to get there, the Warriors will be right back in the mix, the Kings have a young core on the rise and the Suns just went undefeated in the bubble and probably would have made the playoffs if the season were a few games longer.

Even though these teams are in different stages, all have needs that the New Orleans Pelicans could help fill, whether it is with a young player, draft pick or instant veteran contributor.

The Lakers, Clippers and Warriors would all love to add some of the Pels’ veteran talent, while the Suns and Kings might be looking for deals to help complement the talented young players they already have.

If the Pelicans played this right, there are trades with the Pacific Division that could make them better now and into the future. Let’s take a look at some hypothetical deals that could help balance the Pelicans’ roster and set them up for long-term contention.
