New Orleans Pelicans rumors: Trading for Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns

Trading for Devin Booker won’t be easy.

He is a superstar who averaged 26.6 points last season and is still only 24-years-old. By any measure, he is one of the top shooting guards in the game, a guy any team would love to have.

Could the Pelicans pry away a star before he even hits his prime?

In this trade, the Suns are taking back two veterans who can still play, as well as two first-round draft picks from the Pelicans.

The Suns may want more in terms of draft assets and the Pelicans have enough to throw in a third first-rounder if that is what the Suns are after.

The Suns can remain competitive while still adding draft assets to their coffers, while the Pelicans get a third star to go along with Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson.

Who says no?
