New Orleans Pelicans: 3-team trade with the Boston Celtics and Indiana Pacers

3-Team trade for Jrue Holiday

For this trade to work, it first assumes that the Celtics have found a team that wants to move down to get more picks.

The Detroit Pistons would be the perfect candidate, as they lack talent and would probably love to add more picks in a draft where there might not be much difference between the 7th pick and the 17th.

Hypothetically, the Celtics could trade the 14th, 26th and 30th picks to the Pistons for the 7th, which would give them the ammo they need to revamp their roster.

This trade would certainly set off Twitter.

It is an interesting swap, as each team gets something they want or need but also takes on some amount of risk in the process.

There might have to be some additional draft assets added but this would be the foundation for the 3-team trade. Who says no?
