LeBron James has confirmed what fans of the New Orleans Pelicans already knew about Anthony Davis.

When fans of the New Orleans Pelicans saw a recent video of LeBron James talking about Anthony Davis and his injuries, we all nodded and said, “yep.”

Davis was outed by his GOAT teammate during a recent interview on the Roadtrippin Podcast, saying this about AD’s suspect injury history:

"Lebron: “In New Orleans, he would get these little nagging injuries and be out games…”Jefferson: “But he wasn’t fighting for anything so it made sense…”"

Ummm, what? Sitting out many games for “little” injuries? Not fighting for anything? I don’t think LeBron fully understands how this makes his teammate look to his former team.

I may have to make some additions to my “why it is ok to hate Anthony Davis” article.

New Orleans Pelicans: LeBron outs Anthony Davis as a frontrunner

So basically what Lebron is saying is that Anthony Davis chose to sit out with small injuries when he was in New Orleans but played through them in Los Angeles, where the games apparently matter more.

Perhaps if he had been on the floor more often they would have had something to “fight for.”

This is the Anthony Davis who whined for years that the team wasn’t doing enough for him, a guy who forced bad moves to try and accommodate his wishes to not have to play physical basketball.

He then demanded a trade and promptly faked an injury so that he could sit out and avoid a real one. Pels’ fans called him soft while some in the national media called us out for doing so. *She later apologized for this remark.

It turns out that Pelicans’ fans were right all along. Essentially, Davis never wanted to be in New Orleans, never gave 100 percent and never cared about anything except leaving.

In other words, he’s the bizarro-Jrue Holiday, who will get a roaring standing ovation when he returns to the Crescent City and possibly his name in hanging from the rafters.

I’m glad Anthony Davis was finally able to locate his heart, it’s too bad he couldn’t have found it in New Orleans. Enjoy your ring, Robin.
