The New Orleans Pelicans will take on the Milwaukee Bucks in their final preseason game.

The New Orleans Pelicans will get their second and final tune-up when the Milwaukee Bucks pay a visit to the Smoothie King Center.

The Pels were missing Eric Bledsoe, J.J. Redick and Wenyen Gabriel but all three should be available for the final preseason game, so we can get a better understanding of where the rotations stand going into the regular season.

Jrue Holiday’s Homecoming

We didn’t have to wait long for Jrue Holiday to return to New Orleans, and even though it is only preseason, it has to be somewhat emotional to compete against the former leader of your team.

Holiday was the face of the franchise and a fan-favorite before being traded in the offseason for Bledsoe and a slew of draft picks.

It’s a shame that there won’t be much of a crowd in the Smoothie King Center, as it would be nice for Holiday to receive a rousing standing ovation for his efforts as a Pelican.

Hopefully, by the time he returns in the regular season, things will have somewhat returned to normal and the Pels can give Holiday the recognition he deserves.

It is going to be weird to see Holiday in another uniform and probably even weirder for his teammates to play against a guy who was their leader just a few weeks ago.
