Trade #3- The New Orleans Pelicans use Lonzo Ball in a trade package to acquire Bradley Beal from the Washington Wizards

By now it’s no secret, Bradley Beal isn’t exactly happy with the Washington Wizards. Pelicans fans might remember that the organization even attempted to trade for Beal at last year’s deadline too.

So, now that the Washington Wizards are 2-8 on the season it might be time for the Pelicans to revisit a potential Beal trade. This one could get the deal done:

In this deal, the Pelicans will send Lonzo Ball and the recently acquired Eric Bledsoe away for Bradley Beal. The move instantly creates an immediate big three on the Pelicans roster with Beal, Brandon Ingram, and Zion Williamson. That’s a core the Pelicans can build around.

Meanwhile, the Wizards can use Ball’s upside and Bledsoe’s experience to kickstart their rebuild. Then the getting first-round picks from the Pelicans in 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 could seriously set the Wizards up for the future. Not a bad move for either team.

There we go, three Lonzo Ball trades that could improve the New Orleans Pelicans this season at the NBA trade deadline. Some fans might not want to see these deals happen, but I believe they’d be best for the team in the long-run too!
