New Orleans Pelicans vs. Indiana Pacers: Grades for the shooting guards
ERIC BLEDSOE. B-. . Shooting Guard. New Orleans Pelicans
Eric Bledsoe didn’t do much offensively last night but his defense was better, though he did get burned on a backdoor cut late in the game.
Bledsoe only took one 3-point shot and knocked it down and added four rebounds and three assists.

Josh Hart had some big rebounds in the game and once again defended multiple positions and did it well.
He has shown some life shooting the ball lately and knocked down another corner 3-pointer on two attempts.
B-. . Shooting Guard. New Orleans Pelicans. J.J. REDICK
Shhhh, J.J. Redick is starting to hit shots.
Redick has hit the majority of his 3-pointers the last few games but still doesn’t look right doing it.
The Pelicans are also giving up huge leads when he is on the floor and he had the worst plus/minus on the team last night.

I am now at the point where I visibly cringe every time NAW shoots the ball.
He has been flat-out awful lately, taking bad shots, turning the ball over and generally being a big part of why the Pelicans can’t hold a lead.
NAW missed another four from long-range last night and is now shooting 26 percent from the 3-point line.
His defense has been ok and his passing has been better but NAW is hurting this team with his shot selection and inconsistency.
I am a strong advocate for Kira Lewis Jr. getting some of his minutes until he finds a way to score that doesn’t involve taking impossible shots.
