New Orleans Pelicans: Trading Lonzo Ball to the New York Knicks

The Knicks are another team that continues to be mentioned in regards to Lonzo Ball but is another one that doesn’t seem to be a good match.

The Knicks are desperate to add a point guard and would love to pair Lonzo with Immanuel Quickley, their talented rookie.

The Knicks do have some young talent that the Pelicans might be interested in and they also have an extra draft pick from Dallas that they might be willing to part with.

If the Knicks wanted to do a deal centered around Obi Toppin and some draft picks, there might be a deal to work out, but if they are thinking Kevin Knox is going to get it done, they are wrong.

Toppin hasn’t gotten a chance to show much this season and the Pels might not be interested anyway, so this is another one that might require a third team to make it worth it for New Orleans.

The Knicks are still clinging to a playoff spot in the East and would love to get there but they are another team that doesn’t seem to be the greatest match for what the Pelicans would want in a Lonzo Ball trade.

LaVar Ball and the New York Post seem to be behind most of these rumors but it appears to be more smoke than fire.
