New Orleans Pelicans: Knicks free agent Reggie Bullock
Bullock is a veteran 3-and-D wing who hit 41 percent of his 3-point shots on over six attempts per game, so he fits right in line with what the Pelicans need.
He’s been up and down in this playoff series against the Hawks, but Bullock is a good defender with size and can shoot the 3-ball.
He averaged double-digits off the bench and was one of the reasons the Knicks were 4th in the NBA in 3-point percentage. If you are wondering, the New Orleans Pelicans were 25th in 3-point percentage as a team.
New Orleans Pelicans: Knicks free agent Alec Burks
Alec Burks has been another of the Knicks’ key role players this season, averaging over 12 points off the bench and hitting 41.5 percent of his 3-point shots on five attempts per game.
He has good size and can play the two or the wing, is a decent defender and rebounder who pulls down 4.6 per game.
Either one of these two could fill multiple roles for the Pelicans and are the type of low-cost role players they will need to find this offseason if they want to make the leap.
But they also need to find some defense.
