Zion Williamson might go down as one of the best Pelicans players of all time, but he still has a lot more to prove. Zion was selected first in the 2019 NBA Draft. New Orleans was electric that night because of how he would change the future of the team.

Zion is going into his third year in the NBA but already is first in team history averaging 61% from inside the paint. His insane numbers of 25 PPG and 7 RPG will only continue to go up. With new Head Coach Willie Green, Zion will only thrive more and bring the Pelicans to the playoffs.
Zion has the chance to be a generational superstar, but there are already some rumblings that some in his camp are unhappy with the Pelicans.
The Pels have already made one deal this summer to clear cap space and literal space on the floor for Zion, so hopefully the Pelicans can make the playoffs next season and put those concerns to bed.
