New Orleans Pelicans: Brandon Ingram would bring the most return in a trade

It seems like just about every day brings a new fake Brandon Ingram trade and most of them are laughable.

Ingram is a 24-year-old All-Star who the Pelicans have already committed to, so I can’t see them trading him unless this season goes horribly wrong.

If something catastrophic happened (say a season-ending injury to a guy whose name I am not even going to mention here for superstitious reasons) and the season looked like a wash anyway, then the Pelicans might consider moving on from Ingram if the return was right.

The thing is, the return probably won’t be right, as it is very difficult to get equal value for a young All-Star who still has several years remaining on his deal.

I see Ingram as the least likely to be traded out of these three, and like I said, something would have to have gone horribly wrong for this to happen.

The Pelicans will give the Ingram/Zion pairing every chance to work out, but if it doesn’t, he would bring a haul in a trade.
