Who on the Pelicans bench will step up?

Last night the first guys off the bench were Gary Clark, Jaxson Hayes and Naji Marshall, with Jose Alvarado and Garrett Temple close behind.

Marshall only ended up playing six minutes, while Hayes played 17, Temple 13 and Alvarado and Clark each played 20 (and both played well).

The Pelicans are going to need increased and consistent production from Jaxson Hayes and at least one of Naji Marshall, Garrett Temple (ugh) or Trey Murphy III, who didn’t play at all last night.

The question is who is going to step up?

The Pelicans sacrificed some of their depth in the McCollum trade, as Hart and Nickeil Alexander-Walker were playing big minutes.

It’s going to take some time for Willie Green to figure out how these pieces fit and several guys are going to have a chance to earn their way into the rotation over the next few games.
